Beautiful things I’ve seen this week
- My son thinking a Shel Silverstein book found at our neighborhood free library was put there exclusively for him
- The way he says “Shel Silverstein”
- How excited my parents were to finally get vaccinated
- My friend’s 14 month old daughter and all of her deliciousness
- Seeing a friend for the first time in over a year and her putting words to something I’ve been feeling lately but never would have realized
- A boy with Downs Syndrome with his mom at the hospital. His sweet face. I wanted to hug him but made small talk with the mom instead
- My best friend from middle school and beyond. Haven’t seen her in 14 years. We walked outside for 2 hours with hot chocolates. She has breast cancer and we talked easily about everything.
- A doctor that I really appreciate
- My dogs sweet face
- Holding hands with my son while taking a walk
- The tzataziki sauce I made
- Diner breakfast food
- When things organically work themselves out
- Wishes
- Deep sleep finally after a week of insomnia
- Comfort
- Water
- Love
